The product range at the flat-wire and special sections plant (TFP) extends from flat wire up to and including complex full sections.

Flat-wire is the starting point for the generation of quality products for a range of applications.

Full sections are produced from round-section wire or slit strip on a range of tandem forming lines. The achievement of ultra-fine tolerances and complicated sections necessitates sophisticated roll-groove matching and complex cold-forming in multi-roll forming heads.

Tight tolerances, stepless edge geometries, linear straightness and flatness are the outstanding characteristics of this product group. It is necessary to differentiate between mill edges, slit, rolled and chased edges. Production of any special edge type in accordance with drawing is possible. The high-precision rolling lines, edge rolling systems and chasing, polishing and straightening machines - combined with special heat treatment systems - assure attainment of the required quality standard.

The necessary roll-grooves are developed and optimized with computer assistance. Here, too, quality assurance throughout every production stage is indispensable and is an integral component of production. Production is electronically monitored, recorded, and backed-up with projector checks.
